We’re proud to introduce iECOBiOTEX, a forward-looking project redefining how textiles are designed, used, and reintegrated into the environment at end-of-life.

By combining eco-design, microbial biodegradation, and environmental safety assessment, iECOBiOTEX promotes a new generation of textiles that are functional, market-ready, and aligned with European sustainability regulations. This project is supported by national funds from the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) and the European Regional Development Fund, under the SIID – I&D Empresarial programme (MPr-2025-4).
